Mom and Marcy are in the air as I type. The house is ready. I have packed all that I can for now and will take pictures when we get all of our stuff together.
The closer we get to leaving, the more I want to share about Ethiopia itself and the culture.
After our arrival, I am hoping to update the blog on the day to day events of the trip. For now though, I thought it might be a good idea to share some of the basics of the culture so that the pieces might fall together a little easier when the time comes to explain all the who's, where's and what's of the trip.
This video shows off some Ethiopian Cuisine. I know it looks different, but you'll have to trust me- IT IS WONDERFUL!!!
I am hoping to take Mom and Marcy before we leave. Will post some pictures of that if I get a chance before we fly out!
