Stunned.

I was in Sears today looking at glasses when my cell phone rang. My mother stood beside me and watched, first with concern, then with curiosity as I heard my husband read a letter that we received in the mail today. I sit here with goosebumps as I write this(I've had them since I picked up that call), tears streaming down my face in amazement.
All my mother heard was a gasp, and then she saw the tears as they began to fall. The poor sales lady in Sears must have thought I was loosing my mind. I grabbed my mothers shoulder (after the big gasp), smiled to reassure her and proceeded to run out of the building while Garrett finished the letter! Mom walked out to meet me and we shared the news with her (more tears and big hug here).
Shaohannah's Hope (see right hand column) miraculously choose our family to be the recipient of a grant that has covered the remaining balance owed to our adoption agency- I mean down to the penny!!!
There are moments in life when everything comes together in such a way that one is left with undeniable certainty that God is completely aware of who we are and exactly what what we need. In those moments we can truly understand what it means to be in awe, defined even more by a stunned expression and joyful tears. I was left without words for a long while, completely amazed by the miracle of this gift.
