The Real Meaning of Christmas

What if, for one day, just one out of this entire year, we all wished the best for one another?
What if we loved as quickly as we judged?
What if we walked in the beliefs we say we cling to and set aside hatred for what we do not understand?
What if we forgave and let go of the pain others have caused?
What if we made our world full of compassion instead of violence?
Is it really just a silly idealist's dream or might it be possible?

If only for a day, imagine what that day could bring the world.
Imagine the healing that would begin.
Imagine the lives that would change and the hearts that would soften.

There are miracles happening all over the world in this moment. My prayer is that there is one in your own life as there as been ours over the last month.
Life is precious. Love is real. Family is what you make it. Peace is possible.

God IS real.
