Adoption

This couple puts into words, what many of us in this adoption process fail to. The gift of adoption is so much more than simply bringing a child home. This process has been so much more than a learning experience. It has been about daily walking in faith, learning to trust in a God so much bigger than we can even imagine, and watching as he provides for all of our needs along the way.
I can't tell you what a blessing it has been and how many tears we have shed over the miracles that God has given us over the last 6 months. Whether they come in the mail or through our front door, it has been one after another and each one, just as much a miracle as the next.
Thank you to those of you who have been able to help whether it is through finances, prayers, or encouragement. Without ALL of you in our lives, this process would have been so much harder.
You have been, and continue to be, an example to us, of what we want to be for others.
Thank you a million times over and please continue to keep us in your thoughts!
On a lighter note- and one full of immediate joy- check out the blog for "Hotflawedmama" (look on the bar to your right). This couple is in Ethiopia picking up their son! They are keeping up on their blog daily and I was sobbing as I read their story of meeting Tariku, a beautiful boy they now hold in their arms! Wow! I had goosebumps!
