Military Life

It has been so fun to be able to talk to various people that have experienced military life. Men and women, retired and active duty- they all have been so encouraging.
While Garrett and I won't be getting much information until January, it has been fun to research what we can and start looking at what life will be like and how many hundreds of adjustments that we will be making. Between learning the new surroundings and finding a home big enough for a growing family, there is no lack of learning to be done!
At times it has been overwhelming, at other times the idea is a bit of a relief. Some have shared the harsh reality of the lifestyle, others have shared all of the perks. I imagine it is somewhere in between. That said, we have decided that enjoying our last Christmas living civilian life ( at least for the next couple of decades-wow!) is a priority! Regardless of work schedules, bills, and all the unknowns- we are enjoying where we are, and looking forward to what is to come!
