Fall

While it may not have hit the DC burbs yet, Fall has definitely struck the Maryland countryside. Garrett and I drove into northern Maryland on Saturday and this is what we found.

We came home Saturday night and were informed by our friendly neighborhood weatherman that it was expected to get into the low 30's at night and to expect freeze warnings to kick in by the following day. The guy described this weather as Fall "finally hitting". My jaw was on the ground. If this is fall- am going to be an icicle by next month! How cold does it get here in the WINTER?!?!? This little California chick-i-dee, might just have to hunker down and kick up the heat a little earlier than the rest of the population out here because IT IS COLD!!!!!

  2. Wowzer! Those pictures are B-A-U-tiful! By the way, I was in Illinois last winter for a week and I wore about four layers each day...no joke! Be prepared, Missy.
