Oh my goodness! I am so excited right now I can hardly contain myself! Our Dossier is done and in the mail! It should get to Minnesota by Tuesday for final review and processing. Rumor has it that it only takes about 24 hours for them to review the file and put our names on the list! I had no idea I would feel this relieved and excited and anxious all at the same time.
Not only that, but one of my new friends in Maryland (we met through our adoption agency) has just turned in her Dossier as well. She has adopted twin girls with her husband a little over two years ago and they are now waiting for a boy. Anyway, we may end up traveling together- who woulda thunk it?!? It is such a wonderful feeling to be sharing this experience with other families who have gone through the same thing.
It never ceases to amaze me, the way that things work out. I get myself all worked up and then BOOM- there is this gift that puts everything in place and lightens my heart.
