Progress

It is with great joy that we can share we will be moving forward with our Dossier this week!
Forgive me in advance. I have had at least 6 cups of caffeinated tea today and am still on quite a buzz so you'll have to excuse the ramblings of a very wired woman. Besides- I think the news is pretty big for us!
Miracles happen and we have been given one! An opportunity to move forward came to us this week through the many prayers of family and friends. There will be further challenges along the way, but this stretch of the road has been provided for and we are ready to move ahead.
All our documents have been gathered and should be notarized and certified by Friday (it's the soonest we could get down to Sacramento :P)! I don't expect for CHSFS to receive the documents until Monday or Tuesday of next week (gotta love FedEx- overnight), but we should hear word by late next week about our placement on the waiting list.
I can't express how much relief and joy I feel. I know there are many more months ahead, but this next period of time at least allows us an opportunity to get excited about our "pregnancy". This is the time for name searching, shopping and planning out a nursery theme. It will be a busy chunk of time and I have no doubt, but that it will fly by and before we know it we will be in Maryland, have our referral and be awaiting a travel date!
